Jordi Vilasuso is set to exit the role of Rey Rosales on The Young and the Restless this spring. “Playing Rey Rosales and being part of the Rosales family was a beautiful chapter in my career. I was proud to represent my culture on daytime’s #1 drama and work with an incredible cast and crew that I will miss dearly. I thank you, Y&R, for always welcoming me and giving me the opportunity to tell stories that impacted millions. As this door closes, others will and have opened.”
The actor, who first appeared on Y&R in 2018, recently launched a podcast, Making it Work, with wife Kaitlin Vilasuso, which you can check out here. Vilasuso’s additional soap credits include Tony Santos on Guiding Light from 2000 through 2003, Griffin Castillo on All My Children from 2010 through 2011 and 2013, and Daria Hernandez on Days of our Lives from 2016 until 2017.
