The Amazing Race Canada Returns for Season 8

The Amazing Race Canada returns for the 8th season this Tuesday, July 5 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CTV.

Returning as host is Olympic Gold Medalist Jon Montgomery. The all-new cast of racers includes an Olympian, a JUNO Award-winning singer, teachers, personal trainers, a firefighter, a comedian, a motivational speaker, and Broadway performers. Music fans will recognize Jully Black, while Big Brother Canada fans will recognize season nine winner Tychon Carter-Newman.

Returning after 2019 due to the pandemic, The Amazing Race Canada will have 10 teams of racers head to the starting line to push themselves out of their comfort zones in a non-stop, action-packed expedition.

The racers will hope to win two first-ever Chevrolet Silverado ZR2’s, a once-in-a-lifetime trip for two around the world courtesy of GURU Organic Energy, a $250,000 cash prize, and the coveted title of The Amazing Race Canada champions.
