Brittany Hoopes was the last houseguest to be evicted from Big Brother before the finale on September 25. We had the chance to ask Brittany a few questions before she left for jury. Brittany chats with us about how she’ll navigate reconciling with Michael in the jury house, which houseguest was the hardest to live with, and her favourite memory from the game.

How will you navigate reconciling with Michael in the jury house?

That’s a good question! I have a lot of questions for Michael! I just think he’s had two weeks now to come down from the high that is double eviction night. I’m sure he’s gained some perspective. I want to give him the benefit of the doubt. I want to know where his mind was at. I know he was in self-preservation mode. Any good fan of this show would do anything they can as they are leaving to save themselves. So, I understand that!

I also do know, that in my opinion, he somewhat crossed a line in terms of the trust we had together, strategically in this game, as well as some personal things that he said on his way out. I just want to have a better understanding of those things [that he said] before we kind of chart where we’re moving from here.

Which houseguest was the hardest to live with?

[Laughs] Oh my goodness! I don’t think it’s probably a surprise to hear. My friend Jasmine! I love her to death. I can’t wait to geek out over being female business owners. That’s something that I wasn’t able to talk to her about in the house. But living with my good friend Jasmine could be challenging at times! Let’s just say that we’ll make better friends out in the real world than roommates.

What’s been your favourite memory from inside the house?

Oh, so many! This has literally been the most fun I’ve ever had in my entire life. But, if I had to pick one memory, it probably was Michael and I trying to devise to pitch Monte during his first HOH to get the Veto to not be used, so that we could be insulated should Alyssa or Indy were to leave that week. We had that conversation right before his birthday party and I remember Michael was so frustrated that he had to go to his own birthday party when he wanted to talk game and enact this plan. That just tickled me so much, knowing that he would rather skip his birthday party to play Big Brother! He was perturbed that he had to go this party. It was just so funny to me.

The season finale of Big Brother airs Sunday, September 25, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Global and CBS. Canadians can catch up on demand, STACKTV, the Global TV app, and at GlobalTV.com.
