The winners are in! The Daytime Emmy Awards were handed out in Los Angeles on June 7 in a ceremony that was broadcast live on Global and CBS.
General Hospital (ABC/Citytv) won for Outstanding Daytime Drama Series, Writing, and Directing at the 51st annual Daytime Emmy Awards! GH star Robert Gossett (Marshall Ashford) also won for Outstanding Supporting Actor.
The Young and the Restless’ (CBS/Global) Michelle Stafford won Outstanding Lead Actress for her role as Phyllis Summers. The actress previously won this award in 2004 and for Supporting Actress in 1997.
Stafford’s Y&R co-star Courtney Hope won Outstanding Supporting Actress for her role as Sally Spectra after previously being nominated in the same category for the same role that she also played on The Bold and the Beautiful in 2021.
The Young and the Restless’ Eric Braeden (Victor Newman) and Lauralee Bell (Christine Blair) presented their co-star Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki Newman) the Lifetime Achievement honour, which was presented to the actress alongside her husband, Emmy Award-winning producer Edward J. Scott (The Bold and the Beautiful, The Young and the Restless, Days of our Lives).
The Bold and the Beautiful’s (CBS/CTV) Thorsten Kaye won Outstanding Lead Actor for his role as Ridge Forrester for the second year.
Beloved film and television icon Dick Van Dyke became the oldest recipient of a Daytime Emmy at the age of 98 for his Guest Performance as Timothy Robicheaux on Days of our Lives (Peacock/W Network).
