Here are some new shows that begin streaming this weekend or have premiered on TV this past week.

Nobody Wants This

Sparks fly between an outspoken podcast (Kristen Bell) and a newly single rabbi (Adam Brody) in Nobody Wants This. The 10-episode series began streaming on Netflix on Thursday, September 26.

So Long, Marianne

Based on the relationship between Canadian poet Leonard Cohen and his muse Marianne Ihlen, So Long, Marianne follows two lonely people in their 20s falling in love while they are still trying to discover who they are. The limited series begins streaming on Crave in Canada this Friday, September 27 – with a new episode premiering weekly. For more information about the series, click here.

Doctor Odyssey

Joshua Jackson stars as Max, the new on-board doctor for a luxury cruise ship where the small but mighty medical team navigate unique medical crises and each other, miles from shore. Doctor Odyssey also stars Don Johnson, Phillipa Soo, and Sean Teale. The series premiered on Thursday, Sept. 26 on CTV and ABC and is streaming in Canada on CTV.ca and the CTV app.

Grotesquerie

Ryan Murphy’s new series is about a detective and nun investigating a series of heinous crimes. Starring Niecy Nash, Courtney B. Vance, Nicholas Alexander Chavez, Lesley Manville, and Travis Kelce. The first two episodes of Grotesquerie are now streaming on Disney+ in Canada.

Murder in a Small Town

Kristen Kreuk and Rossif Sutherland star in Murder in a Small Town – Karl Alberg (Sutherland) moves to a quiet coastal town to soothe a psyche that has been battered by big-city police work, but finds himself needing to call upon all his skills to solve the murders that continue to wash up on his shore. The series premiered on Tuesday, Sept. 24 on Fox and Global. Canadians can stream the series on GlobalTV.com, the Global TV app, and STACKTV.

Saturday Night Live

Saturday Night Live kicks off its 50th season this Friday, Sept. 28 on NBC and Global with host Jean Smart (Hacks) and musical guest Jolly Roll. Industry

In the third season finale of Industry – as a new era dawns at Pierpoint, Yasmin (Marisa Abela) and Robert (Harry Lawtey) pay a fated visit to the countryside, and Harper (Myha’la) comes to a career crossroads. The season finale of HBO’s Industry begins streaming at 9 p.m. ET on Crave. A fourth season was commissioned earlier this week.
