Here are some new shows that begin streaming this weekend or have premiered on TV this past week.

The Diplomat

Keri Russell returns in the second season of The Diplomat. When a London bombing shatters the world, US diplomat Kate Wyler faces the ultimate test as her suspicions reach the top levels of the British government. All six episodes of The Diplomat S2 began streaming on Thursday, Oct. 31.

The Substance

The Substance, which screened at TIFF earlier this year, began streaming on Mubi this past Thursday, Oct. 31. A fading celebrity takes a black-market drug – a cell-replicating substance that temporarily creates a younger, better version of herself. Stars Demi Moore, Margaret Qualley, and Dennis Quaid.

Alan Cumming’s Paradise Homes

An enchanting, fantasy-filled property series where Alan snoops around incredible homes around the world. Fuelled by his secret passion for architecture and interior design, he discovers what really makes a home, paradise. The first season of Alan Cumming’s Paradise Homes began streaming on Crave on Thursday, Oct. 31.

Prince William: We Can End Homelessness

We Can End Homelessness follows the first year of Homewards, Prince William’s ambitious five-year program that aims to show it is possible to end homelessness, by working with six locations across the U.K. This series goes behind-the-scenes as Prince William launches his new initiative, and grants unique access as he sets to work to combat the crisis. The documentary series began streaming on Disney+ in Canada on Friday, Nov. 1.

My Dead Mom

New Canadian series starring Megan Follows and Lauren Collins. Emmy begins to reconsider her life choices three years after the passing of her mother. My Dead Mom begins streaming on Crave on Friday, Nov. 1.

The Graham Norton Show

This week’s episode features the viral moment between Saoirse Ronan, Paul Mescal, and Eddie Redmayne. Norton’s guests in this episode also include Denzel Washington and Blossoms. The Graham Norton Show airs on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 11 p.m. on BBC First in Canada. Due to a programming issue, last week’s Bruce Springsteen episode will now air on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 10 p.m.

Saturday Night Live

This week’s episode of Saturday Night Live will feature host John Mulaney and musical guest Chappell Roan. Airs on Saturday, Nov. 2, at 11:30 p.m. on Global and NBC. Also streams on STACKTV in Canada.
