Here’s a roundup of the latest new shows to stream from the past few weeks.
Dexter: Original Sin
Set in Miami in 1991, the Dexter prequel series centres on a young Dexter Morgan when his bloodthirsty urges begin to surface. He must learn to channel his inner darkness as he transitions from student to avenging serial killer with the guidance of his father.
The star-studded cast of Dexter: Original Sin includes Patrick Gibson, Christian Slater, Molly Brown, Christina Milian, Patrick Dempsey, and Sarah Michelle Gellar. Michael C. Hall returns to narrate the series.
The 10-episode series premieres Friday, Dec. 13, with new episodes streaming each Friday on Paramount+.
Paris & Nicole: The Encore
The OG reality TV icons Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie reunite with a three-part series 20 years after The Simple Life. All three episodes of Paris & Nicole: The Encore are now streaming on Hayu in Canada.
No Good Deed
Another stacked series is No Good Deed with Lisa Kudrow, Ray Romano, Linda Cardellini, Luke Wilson, Abbi Jacobson, and O-T Fagbenle.
Three very different families are vying to buy the very same 1920s Spanish style villa that they think will solve all their problems. All eight episodes of No Good Deed are now streaming on Netflix.
The Jetty
The Jetty follows Jenna Coleman’s Det. Ember Manning as she must figure out how a fire at a vacation home is connected to a podcast journalist investigating a missing person’s cold case and an illicit love triangle between a man in his 20s and two underage girls.
The four-part series aired this past summer on BBC and makes its way to BritBox in Canada this Friday, Dec. 13.
Black Doves
In Black Doves, Keira Knightley’sHelen embarks on a passionate affair with a man who has no idea what her secret identity is. Caught in the crosshairs when her lover falls victim to the dangerous London underworld, Helen’s employer’s calls in Sam (This Is Going to Hurt’s Ben Whishaw) to protect her.
Happy Valley’s Sarah Lancashire also stars. All six episodes are now streaming on Netflix.
The Agency
Starring Michael Fassbender, Jodie Turner-Smith, Jeffrey Wright, and Richard Gere, The Agency follows a world of even deeper intrigue and subterfuge, with characters fighting their own battles as they grapple with existential threats to the nation and the world.
Produced by George Clooney, The Agency is based on the acclaimed French series Le Bureau des Légendes and has already been renewed for a second season. The Agency premiered on Paramount+ with two episodes on Nov. 29 and continues to stream each Friday through Jan. 24, 2025.
The Graham Norton Show
