Saturday Night Live’s highly anticipated 50th anniversary special, SNL50: The Anniversary Special, will air live this Sunday, February 16 at 8 p.m. ET on Global and NBC in Canada.
Canadians will also be able to stream the SNL50 special on the Global TV app and STACKTV.
There will be a star-studded lineup of A-list celebrities and musical icons for the three-hour broadcast from New York City’s Studio 8H in Rockefeller Center.
On February 6, NBC confirmed appearances from Adam Driver, Ayo Edebiri, Bad Bunny, Dave Chappelle, John Mulaney, Kim Kardashian, Martin Short, Miley Cyrus, Paul McCartney, Paul Simon, Pedro Pascal, Peyton Manning, Quinta Brunson, Robert De Niro, Sabrina Carpenter, Scarlett Johansson, Steve Martin, Tom Hanks and Woody Harrelson.
On February 10, former cast members Adam Sandler, Chevy Chase, Eddie Murphy, Kristen Wiig, Will Ferrell, Amy Poehler, Andy Samberg, Chris Rock, Fred Armisen, Garrett Morris, Jane Curtin, Jason Sudeikis, Jimmy Fallon, Kate McKinnon, Kenan Thompson, Laraine Newman, Maya Rudolph, Molly Shannon, Pete Davidson, Seth Meyers, Tina Fey, Tracy Morgan, and Will Forte were also announced.
The 50th season of Saturday Night Live continues to air and stream on Saturdays at 11:30 p.m. on NBC and Global in Canada. The Peacock documentary series SNL50: Beyond Saturday Night and the NBC special Ladies & Gentlemen… 50 Years of SNL Music are also available to stream in Canada on the Global TV app and STACKTV.
SNL50: The Homecoming Concert will air this Monday, Feb. 17 at 8 p.m. ET on Showcase in Canada and will also stream on the Global TV app and STACKTV.
A number of specials, including Saturday Night Live’s 40th anniversary is available to stream in Canada on Crave, along with the 2024 film Saturday Night– which chronicles the 90-minutes before the very first episode of SNL on Oct. 11, 1975.
SNL50: The Anniversary Special airs Sunday, Feb. 16 at 8 p.m. ET on Global and NBC.
