March 2025 hit us with a tidal wave of fresh TV content, and after some serious binge-watching, I’ve distilled my top 5 favourite shows of the month. Get ready to update your watchlist!
Netflix’s Running Point, starring Kate Hudson, was a slam dunk. Produced by Mindy Kaling, and inspired by the glitz and drama of the owner of the Lakers, the series delivered some good laughs and great cast.
Over on Disney+, Deli Boys served up a unique blend of comedy and twists. When their father, the proprietor of a seemingly ordinary convenience store empire, passes away, two Pakistani-American brothers find themselves thrust into a world they never imagined. Asif Ali, Saagar Shaikh, and Poorna Jagannathan deliver standout performances – definitely hoping for a second season.
HBO/Crave’s The White Lotus season three has been a masterclass in slow-burn tension, keeping us hooked all month long. With just one episode remaining, the burning question is: will Jesus save Piper from the Buddhists?
Adolescence (Netflix) has proven to be a true masterpiece, exceeding all expectations. This mini-series is a testament to the power of impactful storytelling, revealing new depths with each viewing. Netflix delivers when it comes to quality miniseries.
Finally, Seth Rogen’s The Studio (Apple TV+) is already making waves, despite being only two episodes in. Rogen’s signature comedic style and behind-the-scenes Hollywood satire are a perfect match, making this series an instant favourite. I’m eagerly anticipating what the rest of the season has in store.
