The 2025 BAFTA Television Awards will stream live and on demand on BritBox in Canada this Sunday, May 11.
Alan Cumming will host the star-studded ceremony celebrating the best in British Television from Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall beginning a 2 p.m. ET (7 p.m. BST) – with the red-carpet arrivals streaming prior.
Nominees include some of the biggest British shows from this past year including Blue Lights (streaming in Canada on BritBox), Sherwood (streaming in Canada on BritBox), Baby Reindeer (Netflix), One Day (Netflix), Shogun (Disney+), The Traitors (streaming in Canada on Crave), Brassic (streaming in Canada on CBC Gem), Ludwig (streaming in Canada on BritBox).
Favourites Coronation Street (streaming in Canada on CBC Gem) and EastEnders (airing on OneTV in Canada) face off in the Soap category as do Claudia Winkleman (The Traitors) and Graham Norton (The Graham Norton Show) in the Entertainment Performance category.
Nominated actors include Marisa Abela (Industry), David Tennant (Rivals), Gary Oldman (Slow Horses), Martin Freeman (The Responder), and Richard Gadd (Baby Reindeer).
