From the team that brought The Office, comes The Paper – 20 years after the documentary crew that immortalized Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton branch find a new subject when they discover a historic Midwestern newspaper and the publisher trying to revive it.
The series premieres on Thursday, September 4 on Peacock in the U.S. In Canada, The Paper will air Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on Showcase in Canada with two back-to-back episodes and will stream on STACKTV. Another two episodes will air and stream on September 11 at 10 p.m. ET, with subsequent episodes dropping weekly through October 23.
Created by Greg Daniels (The Office) and Micheal Koman (Nathan for You), The Paper stars Domhnall Gleeson (Bad Sisters), Sabrina Impacciatore (The White Lotus), Chelsea Frei (Poker Face), Melvin Gregg (American Vandal), Gbemisola Ikumelo (Black Ops), Alex Edelman (Just For Us), Romana Young (Never Have I Ever), Tim Key (The Witchfinder) and Oscar Nuñez reprising his role as Oscar from The Office.
Guest stars this season include Eric Rahill, Tracy Letts, Molly Ephraim, Mo Welch, Allan Havey, Duane Shepard Sr., Nate Jackson, and Nancy Lenehan.
Peacock renewed The Paper for a second season on September 3 ahead of its series premiere.
