Peacock announced on July 24 that they have renewed Days of our Lives for its 62nd and 63rd seasons, extending the soap’s run through 2028.
In Canada, Days of our Lives airs on W Network and streams on GlobalTV.com, the Global TV app, and STACKTV. The groundbreaking soap previously aired on NBC in the U.S. from 1965 to 2022, when it transitioned to streaming on Peacock.
The soap is nominated for 13 Daytime Emmy Awards this year – including Outstanding Drama Series, Writing, and Directing, as well as acting nods going to Eric Martsolf (Brady), Greg Rikaart (Leo), Paul Telfer (Xander), Blake Berris (Everett), Linsey Godfrey (Sarah), Emily O’Brien (Theresa), AnnaLynne McCord (Cat), and Ashley Puzemis (Holly).
DAYS recently welcomed back fan favourites for a storyline in which saw Bo (Peter Reckell) awake from his two-year coma and reunite with Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and children Shawn (Brandon Beemer) and Ciara (Victoria Konefal) as well as the memorial service for Drake Hogestyn’s John Black: Melissa Reeves (Jennifer), Matthew Ashford (Jack), Christie Clark (Carrie), and Chandler Massey (Will).
Alison Sweeney is set to return as Sami Brady on August 5 in scenes with Deidre Hall (Marlena).
Days of our Lives will celebrate its 60th anniversary on November 8, 2025.
