Hayu FanFest is Coming to Toronto in March 2027!

Canadian reality TV fans, it’s time to clear your schedules! Reality streaming service Hayu, has announced that Hayu FanFest will make its Canadian debut in Toronto on Saturday, March 20, 2027.

Following sold-out FanFest editions in London (October 2024) and Sydney (August 2026), the Toronto event marks the first time that the immersive convention is landing on Canadian soil (also think BravoCon in Las Vegas).

What to Expect at Hayu FanFest Toronto

Designed as “the ultimate face-to-face experience” for reality television lovers, Hayu FanFest Toronto will bring fans up close with stars across top unscripted franchises.

The event lineup will feature:

·      Live-On Stage Panels and Q&As: In-depth interviews and cast discussions spilling all the backstage drama.

·      Meet-and-Greets: Photo opportunities with fan-favourite cast members.

·      Immersive Brand Activations: Interactive experiences dedicated to iconic series.

·      Exclusive Merchandise and Surprises: Access to limited-edition items and special event reveals.

·      Summer House Canada Reveal: Could we meet the cast of Hayu’s upcoming Summer House Canada, which was filmed last summer in Muskoka and is scheduled to premiere in 2027?

Whether you are obsessed with The Real Housewives, loyal to Below Deck, or obsessed with Summer House, the event promises to celebrate the community that surrounds these pop-culture phenomena.

Celebrating Canadian Reality Fan

Reality TV in Canada has had quite the evolution. We went from watching everyday people “stop being polite and start getting real” on the Life Network in the ‘90s to following the channel's transformation into Slice in the 2000s, before eventually landing on Hayu in 2018 and the launch of Canada’s standalone Bravo channel in 2024.

“We know just how passionate Canadian reality TV fans are and we can’t wait to bring Hayu FanFest to Toronto for the very first time,” said Olga Puzanova, SVP DTC Marketing, NBCUniversal International Networks & DTC. “What makes reality TV so special isn’t just want happens on screen, it’s the incredible fandom that grows around it. Hayu FanFest is our way of celebrating that community, bringing fans closer to their favourite reality TV icons and giving them the chance to share the experience with people who love it just as much as they do.”

Since launching in Canada in October 2018, Hayu has served as the premier hub for unscripted TV in Canada. Offering over 350 shows and 10,000 episodes ad-free for $7.99/month, the platform streams new episodes the same day as their U.S. broadcast. In addition to shows from Bravo and E!, Hayu also streams some big hits from the United Kingdom, including Made in Chelsea and Love Island UK.
