General Hospital Spoilers: Kate Mansi to Exit as Kristina
Three years after assuming the role, Kate Mansi will be exiting General Hospital as Kristina Corinthos-Davis.
The casting news was first reported by Soap Opera Network with journalist Stephanie Sloane confirming in her newsletter that Mansi opted to leave the soap when her contract expired, telling Sloane: “I’ve made the difficult decision to leave General Hospital. I have a few projects that require my full attention and with my husband [Matt McInnis] currently producing a series filming primarily abroad [Prime Video’s Tomb Raider], I needed the flexibility to travel while continuing to develop and work in Los Angeles.”
GH’s executive producer told Sloane, “We love Kate and support her decision to leave. The door is always open, and we appreciate all that she added to the show these past three years.”
Per Soap Opera Network, Mansi filmed her final episode in April and will last air this June.
