Canadian Soap Fans: The Young and the Restless to Air at a New Time in Ontario

The Young and the Restless viewers in Ontario will want to take note of a scheduling update – the soap will now air at 4 p.m. on Global Toronto beginning Monday, September 16, 2024.

Y&R previously aired at 4:30 p.m. ET in this market since 1984 and will continue to lead into Global News, which has expanded to an hour. Y&R’s showtimes across the rest of Canada remain unchanged and the Canadian network will continue to offer the soap a day ahead of its CBS airings in the U.S.

Y&R will continue streaming on STACKTV, GlobalTV.com, and the Global TV app.

Created by William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell, The Young and the Restless is currently in its 52nd season and revolves around the loves, enmities, hopes and fears of the residents of the Midwestern town of Genoa City.
