Beverly Hills, 90210, which originally aired on Fox and Global TV in Canada, is set to return to streaming platforms in a “remastered” edition on Crave ahead of its 35th anniversary.
Previously, the series streamed on Paramount+ and Pluto TV with several episodes missing due to rights issues with the original music. To resolve this, reports indicate the full series will now be available, though certain musical performances will be cut, or popular music will be replaced.
One of the most definitive shows of the ‘90s, Beverly Hills, 90210, follows the lives of a group of friends living in Beverly Hills, California, as they transition from high school to college and into the adult world.
The original ensemble that defined a generation ran from October 4, 1990, to May 17, 2000, and included Jason Priestley, Shannen Doherty, Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, Gabrielle Carteris, Luke Perry, Tori Spelling, and Brian Austin Green. The series’ long run also saw the addition of key cast members such as Kathleen Robertson, Tiffani-Amber Thiessen, Hilary Swank, Lindsay Price, and Vanessa Marcil.
The six-episode meta-series, 90210: Reunion (formerly BH90210), is also available to stream on Crave. In this “revival,” Priestley, Doherty, Garth, Ziering, Carteris, Green, and Spelling return to portray fictionalized versions of themselves attempting to get a reboot off the ground.
Canadians can stream Beverly Hills, 90210 and 90210: Reunion (previously titled BH90210) on Crave.
