Production of Coronation Street has shut down in Manchester in an effort to stop the spread of COVID-19. ITV has adjusted its broadcast and will only air 3 episodes in the UK beginning March 30. CBC has decided to follow the same model and will begin only broadcasting 3 episodes a week instead of 6.

Monday (April 20): David consults Imran about divorcing Shona. Aled’s hearing aid arrives. Yasmeen calls an ambulance. Ken tells Norris about Charles’ scam.

Tuesday (April 21): Ken demands to see the Residents’ Rulebook. Cathy and Alex call at No. 5 to lend a hand. Seb refuses to move out of the flat. Alya calls at No. 6 and confronts Geoff.

Wednesday (April 22): David and Lily play an April Food on Gail. The audiologist fits Aled’s hearing aids. Yasmeen tells Geoff that she’s going to her grandson’s wedding without him.

Coming up on Coronation Street during the week of April 27:

  • Geoff begs Yasmeen not to leave him.
  • Gemma is overcome by a wave of anxiety.
  • Leanne leaves Oliver with Steve for the day.
