— The CW is confirming that Rob Estes will be leaving 90210 after the end of this season. What? First Jennie Garth and now Principle/Dad Harry? Apparently this is over a salary dispute regarding the show’s third season. Estes should just go back to Melrose Place as Kyle McBride. I understand that the producers have changed the focus of the show to feature only the young characters but you still need strong supporting adult roles. Will Aunt Becky be safe?
— Gossip Girl has cast William Baldwin as Serena and Eric’s homewrecking dad. The former Dirty Sexy Money actor will make his first appearance in April.
— It’s a big CW parent post today, isn’t it? Anette O’Toole will reprise her role as Martha Kent on Smallville later this season. And yes – Smallville is still on. O’Toole was written out at the end of the show’s sixth season when Martha moved to Washington to become a senator.
— Could we possible get a Dr. Horrible reunion? Neil Patrick Harris could guest star on an upcoming episode of Glee which would be directed by Joss Whedon. I hope this happens.
— Days star and Biggest Loser host Alison Sweeney will guest star on an upcoming episode of Mercy. Yeah, yeah time for the “she should host the Tonight Show” joke.
