— The BBC wants Lady Gaga to appear as a villain on Doctor Who. A source told Digital Spy that Gaga is “no stranger to dressing up and would be more than a match for the Doctor. It would be a great coup to get her.” Gaga fans are currently (impatiently) awaiting the release of her latest video for “Alejandro” – it should hit the net this week.
— Could Chace Crawford just be method acting?
— TV Guide is reporting that ABC has downsized the next season of Brothers & Sisters (from 22 to 18). Rachel Griffiths says she’ll appear in 17 out of 18 episodes and that the show will also cut down on the big family scenes with all of the Walkers, “There was a lot of pressure on the writers to use all the actors all the time, which used to piss us off. Did they really need for me to be in one scene and not speaking when I could have been in Australia or New York? A lot of times there were actors just hanging around twiddling their thumbs. So, I think what they have planned is going to work out pretty well.” Are you serious? The family scenes are sort of what made the show good. Anything could have happened in the kitchen or dinner table because everyone on the show was there. The cast also seems to be over the show anyway as Sally Field added that if the show does end after the upcoming season, they’ll be “ready” and that they’re “tired.”
— Will Forte will appear on an episode of Parks & Recreation next season. Saturday Night Live’s MacGruber will play Kelly, who is a local resident that is best known for his obsession with Twilight.
— Bad news for fans hoping that Lauren Conrad would return for the show’s series finale. LC was at the Kari Feinstein MTV Movie Awards Style Lounge yesterday (along with Frankie Delgado) and told E! that she has “no plans” to return and that “I really liked how I got to leave the show. I felt like it was on a positive note and I feel like they wrapped up my storyline.” Umm, when did Lauren leave on a positive note? Her last appearance was at the Speidi wedding when they brought in Kristin. As for storyline, its television…there can always be a return story. Conrad also states that she hasn’t watched a single episode since she left.
— Meanwhile, that guy Lauren decided not to go to Paris for was arrested last night. Instead of a DUI, Jason Wahler was charged for hitting a chick. Somewhere in Los Angeles, Lisa Love is smirking.
— Amy Ryan has signed on for the third season of In Treatment, which is great for her…but what about Michael Scott?
— Looks like Glee and Community share the same wardrobe department:
