Following each episode, a cast member of The Real Housewives of Vancouver will blog about her experience on the show for Dose.ca. For the tenth episode, Christina Kiesel returns to share her thoughts on Jody’s abusive relationship with Mary, her generalized anxiety disorder and whether she’ll be back for Season 2.
Real Housewives of Vancouver was just renewed for a second season and I’m still not sure if I’ll come back. Now that we’re finished filming I’m thinking a lot of positive things came out of it: my life is better because of the show, I’m more positive and I have more self-esteem. I expected people to not like me but now I can’t walk down the street without someone yelling, “Team Christina!”
That being said, I have generalized anxiety disorder when I think of about all of us getting together.
I know that when all five of us get together it will not be smooth sailing. We are not able to say that, for once, let’s all get together and not have drama — it’s not even created for the show!
I always feel like I have to defend Mary when Jody attacks her because Jody is not just petty, she’s very abusive and I would protect anyone in an abusive relationship.
In the beginning of the season, Jody saying she didn’t want me associating with Mia would probably bother me but, now I see what kind of person she is, I really couldn’t care less about her opinion. I’m really not hurt by her put downs anymore because she’s such a low person herself that she has no right to judge others so I couldn’t care less of her opinion of me.
I don’t consider Mia my friend, mind you, but I would rather get along with people than have any ongoing argument or feud or rift. Also, I think that it might be fun to annoy Jody by becoming friends with Mia.
In my last blog, I wrote that I was with a Persian man. I’m not with The Persian anymore — turns out he has a really bad temper — so it’s back to the single life.
Who knows who I could meet…if I do Season 2?
