Welcome to a special mid-week edition of Soap News!

Grey’s Anatomy star Chandra Wilson (Bailey) will make an appearance on the Jan. 28th episode of General Hospital. While details of her character haven’t been released, the actress, who has watched GH for 35 years told Soaps In Depth that she’ll share scenes with Jon Lindstrom’s Dr. Kevin Collins. Good on ABC for finally recognizes GH! Surprising that it took this long for two of their most famous hospital-based shows to come together.

— This year’s best and worst soap lists are out! General Hospital tied with Days of our Lives for best soap over at TV Guide, while Soap Opera Uncensored has a bunch of fun categories, check it out here.

— You asked, they listened…some of your favourite Days of our Lives stars are coming to Canada in 2014. While more cities will be announced, the first big stop will be in Toronto on Saturday, May 31 where fans will have the chance to meet Eric Martsolf (Brady), Arianne Zucker (Nicole), Galen Gering (Rafe), Shawn Christian (Daniel), James Scott (EJ) and Greg Vaughan (Eric). Click here for more information.

— Calling all Another World fans: Stephen Schnetzer, who played attorney Cass Winthorp, will be in Saskatoon this Thursday, December 19 at the Dakota Dunes Casino. Schnetzer will meet with fans from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m to chat, sign autographs and answer questions. I’m hearing he’ll also be bringing with him a copy of the very last Another World script! Visit the Dakota Dunes Casino website for more information. Schnetzer recently appeared on Homeland this season as Carrie’s (Claire Danes) psychiatrist.

Alright, Another World fans, which one of Cass’ pairings did you enjoy the most? Kathleen? Frankie? Lila? Or his best friend Felicia? (Sorry Cecile, you did not make the cut!)
