Arianne Zucker (Nicole, Days of our Lives) spoke out on the Today show as well as CNN about the tape which surfaced about Donald Trump and Billy Bush making lewd comments. On Today, Zucker revealed that she wasn’t shocked about Trump’s comments: “Not with that type of personality… which is why it doesn’t mean a lot to me.”

Zucker noted that “they are offensive comments for women, period,” but looks to the bright side as she hoped that the video’s release would teach her 6-year-old daughter (with ex-husband and former co-star Kyle Lowder [ex-Brady]) how to handle things if she ever found herself in a similar situation. “I want to teach my daughter that if she ever gets put in a situation, like mommy is right now, that she will hold her head high as well. And if she’s learned anything from it, how can she share this with other women or young girls or whoever is around her, young boys even. I think young men can learn from this, of how not to be in front of women or when they’re speaking about women. I’m ready to use it in a proper way. I’m ready to use it for positivity. I’m ready to use it for women to step forward and to do good things in my life and for other people.”
