Corus Entertainment has announced that Imposters will premiere its second season on Sunday, April 22, at 9 p.m. ET, on W Network.
The dramedy follows con artist Maddie (Inbar Lavi) being pursued by a trio of her recent, heart-broken victims, Ezra (Rob Heaps), Richard (Parker Young) and Jules (Marianne Rendón). The first season, which was shot in Vancouver, concluded with Maddie’s victims double-crossing FBI agent Patrick (Stephen Bishop) and helping Maddie. Production of the show’s second season moved to Toronto and will have it’s U.S. premiere on Thursday, April 5, on Bravo.
Imposters’ second season will see Maddie attempting to reclaim her life while she evades her former cohort Max (Brian Benben) and Patrick. Meanwhile, Ezra, Richard, and Jules have begun to master the art of the con, with unforeseen events sending them off on a wild, unexpected adventure. Uma Thurman will return in her guest role as lethal fixer, Lenny Cohen. Ray Proscia is also back as “The Doctor,” while executive producer Paul Adelstein will also appear as Shelly Cohen, a mysterious fixer and Lenny’s ex-husband.
In the season premiere, Maddie decides to lay low at a lake house in Michigan as she tries to escape her former existence. However, she finds her past much hard to shake than activated, leaving her in a state of paranoia. Ezra, Richard and Jules head to Richard’s hometown hoping to sell the rare, very expensive ring that Ezra stole from Patrick. Their hope for a clean getaway backfires when the tables turn and they find themselves on the run…again!
Imposters’ second season premieres on Sunday, April 22, at 9 p.m. ET on W Network. Canadian viewers can catch up with the 10-episode first season on Netflix.
