Carter, Bell Media’s latest homegrown series is set to debut this Tuesday (May 15) on Bravo starring Jerry O’Connell (Sliders), Kristian Bruun (Orphan Black) and Sydney Tamiia Poitier (Veronica Mars).
The series focuses on an actor, Harley Carter (O’Connell) returning to his small hometown in Canada after a very public Hollywood meltdown. He then takes his experiences from play a detective on the TV screen to real life as he partners with his childhood friends, vet cop Sam Shaw (Poitier) and coffee truck owner Dave Leigh (Bruun). (Yes, it’s a similar concept to ABC’s Rachel Bilson/Eddie Cibrian series Take Two which premieres this summer.)
All ten episodes of Carter’s first season were shot last year in North Bay, Ontario. The series will air Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET. Following its broadcast run on Bravo, the first season of Carter will then stream on CraveTV.
