Canadian General Hospital star Dominic Zamprogna has announced his departure from the soap. Zamprogna, who joined GH as Dante Falconeri in 2009, tweeted on June 14, “SO you’ve been asking. I feel I owe it to you awesome fans to tell you that I’ve faced my final scenes. Going to miss you all and my GH fam. Good things happening tho. More to come…”

This week on General Hospital: Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Mike (Max Gail) on Monday (June 18). Liesl (Kathleen Gati) covers her tracks. Peter (Wes Ramsey) continues to plead his case. Nina (Michelle Stafford)r runs into Drew (Billy Miller). Amy (Lisa Dorken) offers her insight. Carly (Laura Wright) plays nice on Tuesday (June 19). Nelle (Chloe Lanier) reflects on her past. Franco (Roger Howarth) catches up with Kevin (Jon Lindstrom). Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) wants to keep things simple. Sam (Kelly Monaco) admires Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn).

On Wednesday (June 20), Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) lays into Chase (Josh Swickard). Michael (Chad Duel) confronts Chase. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) leans on Nelle. Kiki (Hayley Erin) worries all will be for naught. Oscar (Garrett Stitt) is disappointed. On Thursday (June 21), Sonny is relieved. Anna (Finola Hughes) refuses to place blame. Nina demands answers. Kiki is disappointed. Julian (William deVry) hears Alexis out.
