Three new series will premiere this week on FX and FXX in Canada along with the fourth season of Better Things (Thursday, March 5 at 9 p.m. on FX).
Breeders stars Martin Freeman in this new comedy series which exposes the parental-paradox that is possible, in the very same moment, to love your child to the horizon of the universe, while being apoplectically angry enough to want to send them there. Daisy Haggard also stars as Freeman’s wife. Breeders premieres on Monday, March 2, at 10 p.m. on FX.
Dave is a half-hour comedy based on the life of rapper and comedian Dave Burd, who is best known by his stage name Lil Dicky. Dave, who is in his late twenties, has convinced himself that he’s destined to be one of the best rappers of all time — first, he’s gotta convince his friends, which may help convince the entire world. Starring alongside Burd are Taylor Misiak, Andrew Santino, GaTa, Travis Bennett, and Christine Ko. The series was co-created by Burd and The League’s Jeff Shaffer. Dave will premiere on Wednesday, March 4, at 10 p.m. on FXX.
Devs is about a young software engineer, Lily Chan, who investigates the secretive development division of her employer, a cutting-edge tech company based in Silicon Valley, which she believes is behind the murder of her boyfriend. The miniseries is from Alex Garland (Ex Machina) stars Sonoya Mizuno (Ex Machina), Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation), and Alison Pill (Star Trek: Picard). Devs will premiere on Thursday, March 5, at 10 p.m. on FX.
New docuseries The Most Dangerous Animal of All will premiere on Friday, March 6, at 10 p.m. on FX.
Coming to April on FX and FXX Canada is the third season of Future Man (April 9), the second season of What We Do in the Shadows (April 15), the fourth season of Fargo (April 19), while Cate Blanchett’s Mrs. America will premiere on Wednesday, April 15.
