The psychological drama series Saint X, based on Alexis Schaitkin’s best-selling novel, premieres Wednesday, April 26, on Disney+ in Canada.
The series, which debuts on Hulu in the U.S. on the same day, is told via multiple timelines and perspectives, explores and upsends the “girl-gone-missing” genre as a young woman’s mysterious death during an idyllic Caribbean vacation creates a traumatic ripple effect that eventually pulls her surviving sister into a dangerous pursuit of the truth.
Saint X stars Alycia Debnan-Carey (Fear the Walking Dead) as Emily Thomas, Josh Bonzie (The Good Fight), West Duchovny (Painkiller; daughter of David Duchovny and Téa Leoni), Jayden Elijah (School’s Out Forever), Bre Francis (Malory Towers), Kenlee Townsend, Betsey Brandt (Breaking Bad), and Michael Park (As the World Turns). The Haindmaid’s Tale’s Leila Gerstein wrote and produced the 8-episode series. Schaitkin also serves as an executive producer alongside Aubrey “Drake” Graham and Adel “Future” Nur.
