The 51st annual Daytime Emmy Awards will air live this Friday, June 7 on Global in Canada and CBS in the U.S. at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
This year’s telecast will also stream on GlobalTV.com, the Global app and STACKTV in Canada and Paramount+ in the U.S.
Returning as hosts for the 2-hour ceremony will be Entertainment Tonight’s Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner. The awards will once again take place at the Westin Bonaventure in Los Angeles.
The Young and the Restless’ Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki Newman) and her husband, the Emmy Award-winning producer Edward J. Scott will be presented with Lifetime Achievement honours during the ceremony.
Global’s The Young and the Restless and CTV’s The Bold and the Beautiful lead this year’s nominations with 12 – including Outstanding Daytime Drama – while Citytv’s General Hospital and W Network’s Days of our Lives follow with 11 nominations. Prime Video’s Neighbours has received two nominations!
Presenters at this year’s Daytime Emmy Awards will include Eric Braeden (Victor), Lauralee Bell (Christine), Christel Khalil (Lily), and Amelia Heinle (Victoria) from The Young and the Restless, Steve Burton (Jason) and Laura Wright (Carly) from General Hospital (Jason), Jackée Harry (Paulina) and Eric Martsolf (Brady) from Days of our Lives, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy) and Lawrence Saint-Victor (Carter) from The Bold and the Beautiful, as well as Stefan Dennis (Paul) and Annie Jones (Jane) from Neighbours.
