Big Brother Exit Interview: Leah Peters

leah peters big brother exit interview season 26

Big Brother’s Leah Peters was the first houseguest to be evicted during the September 26 double eviction episode. The TV Watercooler had the opportunity to submit questions for this week’s jury pool and Leah shared what she is looking forward to discussing the most with the other jury members, who she’d “Zing,” and ultimately accepts responsibility for her eviction and remains grateful for her experience in the Big Brother house.

What are you looking forward to discussing the most with the other jury members?

I am looking forward to discussing everything with the other jury members! I cannot wait until we can talk about all of our own strategies and our relationships with the other houseguests. But most of all, I really look forward to getting to know them on a personal level when we’re not all fighting for a pot of gold!

I think it’s going to be really fantastic getting to know them as people outside of such a stressful and competitive environment.

If you could have written a “zing” for Zngbot to say, what would it have been and to which houseguest?

I think if I could write a zing, it would have been to my lovely ally, Angela: Angela you are louder when you’re awake or when you’re asleep? We can’t tell! Zing!

She’s always snoring when she sleeps! So yeah, I think that’s the one I would write!

Some highlights from the other questions that Leah answered:

A Strategic Alliance with Angela: Leah formed a strong alliance with Angela, recognizing her strategic abilities despite her fiery personality. “I recognize that Angela was the wildcard of the season. She’s a passionate firecracker, but one thing about her is that everyone that she called out on anything, she was usually right. Maybe not the best delivery, but she always made a point. And even though at times, I felt perhaps a little worried about what she would do next, I ultimately prioritized gaining her trust and including her. I knew for a fact that Angela would stay loyal to me and take me far in the game.”

A Challenging HOH Week: Leah admitted that a lack of privacy during her HOH week (which took place outside in “Jankie’s World”) hindered her ability to strategize effectively. “I didn’t get the luxury of having private conversations and discussing all the different outlets among the other houseguests of how they saw the game going. I ultimately think that was a huge contributor to why I made the decisions that I did.”

Lone Wolf Strategy: Leah is proud of her ability to survive as a “lone wolf” for nine weeks. “I think it’s very hard in Big Brother not to commit to an alliance, but I truly believe that only fools rush to take sides and I wanted to be very confident in every single person I choose to commit to an alliance.”

She adds that she wouldn’t change a thing in this strategy: “I believe that my social game was strong enough to not have me be put up for nine weeks. I think that is something to absolutely be proud of, and I think I would not change a thing about that.”

Girl Power: Leah expressed her admiration for her fellow female houseguests: “I’m super impressed by Chelsie because she is a very calculated and strategic player. She knows exactly what she’s doing. I’m very proud of the way she’s played this game. And still, even though she’s a very large threat, she’s laid low and under the radar, which is insane to me.  Makensy is so impressive with all of her competition wins – she’s officially tied with Tucker. That’s so iconic, in my opinion.”

Leah adds, “I’m rooting for all the women. I really hope that a woman wins this season!”

Big Brother next airs this Thursday, October 3 at 8 p.m. ET/PT for a 2-hour episode on Global and CBS.
