The 76th Primetime Emmy Awards will air live this Sunday, September 15 on ABC and CTV2 in Canada at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT. The primetime awards ceremony will also stream live on CTV.ca and the CTV app.
This year’s ceremony will be hosted by Canadians Eugene Levy and Dan Levy and will honour primetime programs that aired between June 1, 2023, through May 31, 2024. Shogun and The Bear lead this year’s nominations with Netflix leading all networks with 107 nominations.
Nominations for the Outstanding Drama Series including The Crown (Netflix), Fallout (Prime Video), The Gilded Age (HBO/Crave), The Morning Show (Apple TV+), Mr. & Mrs. Smith (Prime Video), Shogun (FX/Disney+), Slow Horses (Apple TV+), and 3 Body Program (Netflix).
The nominations for Outstanding Comedy Series include Abbott Elementary (ABC/Global), The Bear (FX/Disney+), Curb Your Enthusiasm (HBO/Crave), Hacks (Max/Crave), Only Murders in the Building (Hulu/Disney+), Palm Royale (Apple TV+), Reservation Dogs (FX/Disney+/CBC Gem), and What We Do in the Shadows (FX/Disney+).
Meanwhile, The Amazing Race (CBS/CTV), RuPaul’s Drag Race (MTV/Crave), Top Chef (Bravo/Hayu), The Traitors (Peacock/Crave), and The Voice (NBC/CTV) battle it out for Outstanding Reality Competition Program.
