Spoilers: 90210 scoop, Kim returns to 24 and more

90210’s Ethan is out.  Dustin Milligan’s contract has not been picked up for next season. However, Ethan could return for a few episodes to wrap up his character’s story. Meanwhile, Dylan-wannabe Liam, played by Matt Lanter will become a series regular next season. Expect the show to have some serious creative changes in its second season thanks to new show runner Rebecca Rand Kirshner Sinclair. The producer/writer has previously worked on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Las Vegas and Gilmore Girls. Sinclair’s retooling first started with last week’s episode and it was such an improvement.  The producer tells Michael Ausiello that she would like to “reconceive things visually” and wants to series to embrace California culture; she says that “if Gossip Girl is about youth in New York, I want to [make 90210] about youth in L.A. and Beverly Hills.” The downside…she wants to rely less on classic 90210 vets like Jennie Garth, Shannen Doherty and Tori Spelling to boost ratings. Seriously? I’d rather see some Kelly related drama than Annie/Shenae Grimes sulking.

— In tonight’s episode, Silver (Jessica Stroup) will decide to go to Kansas to learn more about where Dixon is from so she can understand him. Silver explains why she has to go to Kansas to Kevin, some guy she just met. Kevin is played by Gideon Emery who filled in as a temporary Jax on General Hospital last year. While Ryan and Kelly are out looking for her, it is the Wilson’s that finally track her down at a train station. There will be a big dramatic confrontation on the train tracks which could send Silver to the hospital. Anne Gillespie is back as Kelly and Silver’s troubled mother Jackie while Jason Priestley (Brandon) directed this episode. I’ll have some more scoop on Tori Spelling/Donna’s return later in the week.

— FYI, Global won’t be airing this episode until next week so you’ll have to catch it on The CW at 9pm tonight. However, Global will have it online tonight. The Holmes in New Orleans special is airing in its place.

Elisha Cuthbert, last seen as a special guest on Project Runway Canada, will return to 24 next week as Kim will probably save Jack from the deadly biotoxin. Cuthbert should be sticking around until the finale.

— This week on Lost, Ben must summon the Smoke Monster in order to atone for his sins. You’ll learn more about his past: his relationship with Alex and his issues with Charles Widmore.

— Michael offers Ryan (B.J. Novak) a job at his new company on The Office. Ryan is currently working as a bowling alley manager with bleach-blond hair…just like Margene on Big Love (hair-wise).

— Next week on Chuck, when his dad (Scott Bakula) gets kidnapped by Fulcrum, Chuck has to seek help from his ex Jill (Jordana Brewster).

— Over on Heroes, Angela uncovers her dark past while Mohinder learns about his father’s involvement in a government operation. You’ll also learn more about The Company in next week’s ep.

— Now that he’s recovered, Gale Harold is returning to Desperate Housewives later this season when Jackson is rumored to be popping the question to Susan.

Rumer Willis will be playing a prostitute on Medium. The episode will air on May 18th and will also featured Balthazar Getty as one of Rumer’s johns. Anjelica Huston will also appear in this episode.
