— We’ve finally got some fresh intel on Elizabeth Banks’ character on 30 Rock. The actress tells Entertainment Weekly’s Michael Ausiello that her character is a conservative financial guru who falls in love with Jack (Alec Baldwin) after he appears on her CNBC talk show. Banks goes on to say that “what’s great about her relationship with Jack is they’re equals. She’s not some [pretty] young think that has a fling with him. She really challenges him.”

— Jersey Shore’s J Woww was filming a commercial/photoshoot with Michael Cera for his upcoming move today…Only god knows why. Here she is with Cera eating some pizza (via twitter).
— She’s alive! Julie Benz, who was recently killed off Dexter, will pop up on Desperate Housewives this February as Debbie, a stripper that Susan (Terri Hatcher) befriends. So far, Benz is booked for three episodes.
— Kevin Alejandro has been tapped as Lafayette’s (Nelsan Ellis) new love interest on True Blood. Alejando will play an orderly who takes care of Lafayette’s mother, Ruby Jean (Alfre Woodward). Alejandro currently appears on TNT’s Southland and previously appeared on Ugly Betty as Justin’s dad.
— NBC has released the names of the 14 celebrities who will appear on this season’s Celebrity Apprentice. The celebrities hasbeens are: Darryl Strawberry, Cyndi Lauper, Bret Michaels, Sharon Osbourne, Michael Johnson, Holly Robinson Peete, Goldberg, Carol Leifer, Sinbad (yep, still alive), Summer Sanders, Rod Blagojevich, Maria Kanellis, Curtis Stone and Selita Ebanks. This farce premieres on Sunday, March 14th.
— Bad news for the four of you who are still holding out for a Jack & Audrey reunion on 24: Kim Raver has been upped to a contract player on Grey’s Anatomy. Go Team Renee!
