iPad on 24, Gossip Girl/Vampire Diaries connection, How I Met Your Mother and more

— Everyone right now is talking about the iPad…maybe even Jack Bauer! Rodney Charters, the director of photography over at 24 tweeted yesterday that they might be able to get Jack using the iPad on the 22nd episode.

Gossip Girl and Vampire Diaries executive producer Bob Levy told E!’s Watch with Kristin that he would love to have real life best friends Leighton Meester and Nina Dobrev appear on each other’s shows. The hot brunettes became friends while filming The Roommate which hits theatres later this year. I’d love to see a vampire version of Blair Waldorf.

— The CW will be remaking La Femme Nikita into a new pilot. They’ve also ordered a pilot from Gilmore GirlsAmy Sherman-Palladino about family soap set in either the Midwest or the Rockies.

— Awesome news, CBS has ordered a sixth season of How I Met Your Mother.

— Not-so-awesome news, Jennifer Lopez will guest star on a March episode of How I Met Your Mother as Anita Appleby, a self-help guru who tries to tame Barney.

— CBS has cast Forest Whitaker as the lead in the Criminal Minds spin-off…because that’s exactly what the network needs, another crime show.

— What the hell is going on over at Brothers & Sisters, first Rob Lowe bolts and now there’s reports that Calista Flockhart has asked producers to scale back her work load? The Walkers are going to start having quite a lot of wine leftover starting next season.

Desperate Housewives gets a little more ‘desperate’ when Terri Hatcher’s Susan kisses another chick (again). No word yet on whom but I’d like it to be Drea de Matteo’s Angie for some strange (and sick) reason.

— While we’re on the subject of ABC’s Sunday night dramas, there won’t be any new episodes of Desperate Housewives and Brothers & Sisters until Feb. 21st.

— How bad do I want to be in LA on Feb. 12th? Really bad…The casts of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Family Guy are putting on a live benefit show for Haiti at the Gibson Amphitheatre. I really hope it’s televised.

— Finally, the guys from Supernatural want you to know that they don’t have any Twitter or other social networking accounts…but their bodyguard does.
