— Fox TCA stuff: There won’t be  a Glee spin-off and if Fringe doesn’t continue as a series next year, there may be some other options.

— ABC Family has cancelled The Nine Lives of Chloe King, but it might return as a TV movie.

Kirsten Storms will return to General Hospital as Maxie in late February. The actress has been on medical leave since February (as documented on Dirty Soap).

Lana Del Rey is the musical guest on Saturday Night Live this weekend. This weekend she was in the UK. Check her out performing “Video Games” on The Jonathan Ross Show:

My picks for tonight:

On Shameless (9 p.m. on The Movie Network/Movie Central): After losing a bet at the bar, Frank (William H. Macy) owes $10,000 and Karen (Laura Slade Wiggins)refuses to let him steal the money from Sheila (Joan Cusack). Fiona (Emmy Rossum) is seeing someone new to get her mind off Steve (Justin Chatwin). Debbie (Emma Kenney) and Carl (Ethan Cutkosky) run a babysitting service in the house to bring in extra funds.

On House of Lies (10 p.m. on The Movie Network/Movie Central): A group of management consultants lead by Don Cheadle‘s Marty Kaan travel to New York for MetroCapital, a mega-bank that is looking for a plan to justify taking their year-end bonuses.

Over in late night: Allan Hawco is on Strombo, Snow Patrol play Letterman and Kaley Cuoco will be on Chelsea Lately.
