— Battlestar Galactica‘s Jamie Bamber has joined David E. Kelley‘s Chelsea General as the lead. The TNT pilot is based on Dr. Sanjay Gupta‘s upcoming book, Monday Mornings.
— Patton Oswalt will make a cameo on the Feb. 27th episode of Two and A Half Men.
— Shailene Woodley‘s The Secret Life of the American Teenager has been picked up for another season by ABC Family. The series airs on MuchMusic in Canada.
— Michael Sheen and Lizzie Caplan will star in the new Showtime, Masters of Sex.
— NBC is moving The Firm to Saturdays. New series Awake will take it’s place Thursday nights at 10 p.m. beginning March 1.
— Some picks for this weekend: the Canadian premiere of MTV’s I Just Want My Pants Back happens tonight on Comedy Network, Channing Tatum will host tomorrow night’s Saturday Night Live with music guest Bon Iver. On Sunday’s Less Than Kind (8:30 p.m. on HBO Canada), Josh and Eric struggle to finance their acting school while Miriam discovers a woman sneaking out of her father’s bedroom.
