While in New York last week, General Hospital’s Kelly Monaco (Sam), Tyler Christopher (Nikolas) and Jason Thompson (Patrick) were interviewed by the Associated Press along with executive producer Frank Valentini. Monaco and Thompson recalled the mood on set following the cancellations of ABC’s other two soaps, All My Children and One Life to Live. Christopher commented on how much things have changed since he’s returned to the soap this past year while Valentini discussed the big returns for the soap’s 50th anniversary back in April and teases that they are planning to continue with the Nurses’ Ball next year.
