Global has announced that the third season of Big Brother Canada will premiere on Monday, March 23 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
Shaw Media had previously announced that the hit Canadian reality series would move from specialty network Slice (where it had aired for the first two seasons) to Global, the company’s flagship conventional broadcast network, for its third season.
Big Brother Canada will continue to air three times a week: Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT, Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT and Sundays at 7 p.m. ET/PT.
Cameras will watch a new group of houseguests who move into the recently renovated Big Brother Canada house and compete for a grand prize of $100,000 and a $25,000 gift card from The Brick.
Arisa Cox will return to host the Canadian Screen Award nominated series in addition to the Big Brother Canada Side Show along with season one contestants Peter Brown and Gary Levy. The companion series will continue to air on Slice, Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT (beginning March 26) but will be expanded to an hour.
Big Brother Canada After Dark will also return to Slice, airing Monday through Sunday from 3 a.m. to 6 a.m. ET/PT beginning March 26. A free live-stream on www.BigBrotherCanada.ca will also be back.
