This week on Days of our Lives: John (Drake Hogestyn) is horrified when he realizes that Marlena (Deidre Hall) has been shot on Monday (August 27). Sami (Alison Sweeney) continues to reel over Kristen’s (Stacy Haiduk) revelation that EJ is alive. Sonny (Freddie Smith) and Will’s (Chandler Massey) is interrupted by someone unexpected. Kristen takes Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) hostage.
On Tuesday (August 28), Marlena’s family gathers as she’s wheeled into surgery. Rafe (Galen Gering) arrests Sami. Will keeps a secret from Paul (Christopher Sean). Kristen reaches out to Brady (Eric Martsolf) and reveals she has someone he loves.

On Wednesday (August 29), John is distraught at the possibility of losing Marlena on their wedding day. Sami has a major showdown with Hope (Kristian Alfonso). Kristen gives Brady a deadly ultimatum. Sonny shares good news with Adrienne (Judi Evans).
Kristen tries to seduce Brady on Thursday (August 30). After discovering that Brady is MIA, Paul goes in search of his brother. As she comforts Eric (Greg Vaughan), a guilty Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) decides to come clean about what happened with Nicole (Arianne Zucker). Doug (Bill Hayes) and Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) make a shocking discovery at the club.
Eve (Kassie DePaiva) finds Brady and Kristen in a compromising position on Friday (August 31). Paul and Sami’s confrontation with Kristen takes a horrific turn. Steve (Stephen Nichols) supports John as he waits for word on Marlena. Will makes a major decision about his future.
