Let’s Make A Deal host will soon begin double duty for CBS Daytime. Look for Brady to join the cast of The Bold and the Beautiful beginning Friday, November 30, as Dr. Buckingham (no first name yet), the father of Kiara Barnes’ Zoe.
A show spokeswoman described the role to Entertainment Weekly as a “worldly, intelligent, and and sophisticated man who quickly finds himself entangled in a web of passion and mystery after joining a Los Angeles-area hospital.”
Brady’s 15-year-old daughter Maile also appears on B&B as Tiffany. Brady has hosted DEAL since 2009 and is best known for his acting appearances on How I Met Your Mother and Everybody Hates Chris. He also voices “Clover the Rabbit” on Sofia the First.
This week on The Bold and the Beautiful: Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) is stunned when Bill (Don Diamont) asks her to remove a significant part of his past on Monday (Oct. 29). Eric (John McCook) finds himself at odds with Quinn (Rena Sofer) when she becomes unyielding in her denial of Pam’s (Alley Mills) request to marry in their home.
On Tuesday (October 30), Donna (Jennifer Gareis) and Eric find themselves in an unexpected, but surprisingly familiar, situation. Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) is shocked when Bill makes an unexpected statement to Detective Sanchez (Jeremy Ray Valdez) about the fight that landed him in the hospital.
On Wednesday (October 31) Pam reflects back on her relationship with Stephanie and their mother, Ann (previously played by Susan Flannery and Betty White). Ridge expresses his anger over Bill’s continued overtures to Brooke by destroying a memento that Bill gave her.
A tense situation turns into threats and accusations when Ridge confronts Bill on Thursday (Nov. 1), about going after his wife. Eric walks in on a heated stand-off between Quinn and Pam and the two portraits.
On Friday (November 2), Quinn feels left out of the conversation when Eric, Ridge, Brooke, Thorne (Ingo Rademacher), Katie (Heather Tom) and Donna meet for dinner. Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) gives Leo (Sam Myerson), a long-time buyer at Forrester, a sneak peek at the Intimates collection.
Coming up on B&B during the week of Nov. 5: Eric and Donna reminisce over a bottle of honey bear. Steffy’s first official Intimates fashion show takes place. Look for the returns of Anna Maria Horsford (Vivienne), Obba Babatundé (Julius), Patrika Darbo (Shirley) and Todd McKee (Jake).
The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CTV Two and CBS. Canadian viewers can catch up on demand, on the CTV Go app, and online at ctv.ca.
