GH Preview: Flashback to Sonny and Carly’s First Thanksgiving

This week on General Hospital: Ava (Maura West) manipulates Franco (Roger Howarth) on Monday (November 19). Monica (Leslie Charleson) spends the day with Oscar (Garren Stitt). Drew (Billy Miller) alienates Kim (Tamara Braun). Julian (William deVry) impresses Sam (Kelly Monaco). Stella (Vernee Watson) is taken aback.

Laura (Genie Francis) takes it all in on Tuesday (November 20). Jordan Briana Nicole Henry) is surprised. Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Lulu (Emme Rylan) reflect not he past. Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) helps Carly (Laura Wright) out.

On Wednesday (November 21), Nina (Michelle Stafford) tears into Ava. Laura has terrible timing. Oscar is conflicted. Jason (Steve Burton) visits Sam. Sonny (Maurice Benard) is disappointed.

In a special classic airing on Thursday (November 22), Sonny seals the deal with Laura and returns home to a sad Carly (played by Sarah Brown). Sonny comforts Carly, cheers her partnership with Deception — this is Sonny and Carly’s first Thanksgiving together.

Coming up in Port Charles during the week of November 26:

  • Laura confides in Lulu.
  • Maxie and Peter (Wes Ramsey) share a moment.
  • Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) continues to worry about Aiden (Jason David).
  • Anna (Finola Hughes) pays Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) a visit.
  • Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) dotes on Ava.

Pre-Empted: GH is pre-empted on Friday (November 23) but will resume new episodes on Monday (November 26).

Casting: GH has cast Janet Hubert (the first Aunt Vivian on Fresh Prince of Bel-Air) as Yvonne — a love interest for Mike (Max Gail) at the nursing home. Look for Yvonne to have another connection to someone in Port Charles, according to Entertainment Weekly. Hubert previously appeared on One Life to Live as Evangeline’s mother, Lisa.
