I Am The Night joins Bravo’s winter lineup on Monday, Jan. 28, at 9 p.m. ET.
The limited series is inspired by the life of Fauna Hodel and the infamous “Black Dahlia” murder case and reunites Chris Pine with his Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins.
Airing on TNT in the U.S., I Am The Night tells the story of Fauna Hodel (played by India Eisley), “a teenage girl who is given away at birth and grows up outside of Reno, Nevada. Fauna lives more-or-less comfortably with the mysteries of her origin, until one day she makes a discovery that leads her to question everything. As Fauna begins to investigate the secrets of her past, she meets a ruined reporter (Pine), haunted by the case that undid him. Together they follow a sinister trail that swirls ever closer to an infamous Los Angeles gynaecologist, Dr. George Hodel (Jefferson Mays), a man involved in some of Hollywood’s darkest debauchery, and possibly, its most infamous unsolved crime.
The series co-stars include Leland Order (Berlin Station), Yul Vasquez (Last Flag Flying), Dylan Smith (Maze Runner: The Death Cure), Golden Brooks (Girlfriends), Justin Cornwall (Training Day), Jay Paulson (Electric Dreams) and Connie Nielson (Wonder Woman).
Following I Am The Night’s six-episode broadcast run on Bravo, the series will become available to Crave subscribers.
