NBC is the first American broadcast network to announce its plan for the upcoming 2019-2020 television season. The biggest news is the renewal of This Is Us for *three* seasons!

Melissa McCarthy will replace Steve Harvey as the host of Little Big Shots when the series returns at midseason. The Biggest Loser, meanwhile, has been revived at the NBCU-owned USA Network for a 2020 debut.

New shows include Kal Penn’s Sunnyside and Jimmy Smith’s Bluff City Law. NBC is trying to figure out how to keep Kenan Thompson on Saturday Night Live as he headlines his own comedy series, The Kenan Show, this midseason.
