HBO’s The Righteous Gemstones returns for its third season this Sunday, June 18 at 10 p.m. on Crave in Canada with two episodes.
The 9-episode third season follows the world-famous televangelist family with a long tradition of deviance, greed, and charitable work. When the spoiled Gemstone children finally get their wish to take control of the Church, they discover leadership is harder than they imaged and that their extravagant lifestyle comes with a heavy price.
Starring Danny McBride, John Goodman, Edi Patterson, and Adam Devine, the third season of The Righteous Gemstones begins with Jesse, Judy and Kelvin dealing with dwindling attendance and donations in the wake of their father’s semi-retirement while Eli is visited by a figure from his past. In the second episode, Eli does his best to smooth over relations with the Montgomery boys after a visit to their doomsday prepper compound and then back at the Salvation Centre, the siblings face off against the Board of Ministers.
The Righteous Gemstones airs Sundays on HBO at 10 p.m. ET and streams on Crave in Canada. In the U.S., the series airs on HBO and streams on Max.
