Eddie Marsan (The Thief) also stars as High King Uther alongside Ellie James (I May Destroy You) as Nimu, Nathaniel Martello-White (I Hate Suzie) as Merlin, Stuart Campbell (Rogue Heroes) as Derfel, Daniel Ings (The Crown) as Owain, Valene Kane (The Fall) as Morgan, Jordan Alexandra (Mammals) as Guinevere, Simon Merrells (Good Omens) as Gundleus, Steven Elder (A Spy Among Friends) as Bishop Bedwin, Andrew Gower (Outlander) as Sansum, Aneirin Hughes (Keeping Faith) as Gorfydd, Emily John (My Policeman) as Ceinwyn, Tatjana Nardone (Devils) as Ladwyss, Ken Nwosu (Killing Eve) as Sagramor, and Billy Postlethwaite (The Great) as Candwys.
The Winter King premiered on August 20 in the U.S. on streaming platform MGM+ and will debut later this year in the U.K. on ITVX. Episodes will air weekly following the 2-episode premiere on Crave in Canada on September 10.
