The new 10-episode season finds the law firm of Reddick, Boseman & Lockhart navigating a very different landscape. Following the loss of their biggest client, Chumhum, and the tarnishing of their founding partner’s name, the firm is forced to accept an offer by multi-national law firm, STR Laurie, to become a small subsidiary. Suddenly, all of their decisions can be second-guessed by the giant firm that is literally on top of them. While STR Laurie initially seem like benevolent overlords, Diane (Christine Baranski) and her colleagues grieve their loss of independence.
Returning alongside Baranski are Cush Jumbo, Delroy Lindo, Audra McDonald, Sarah Steele, and John Larroquette. Zach Grenier will reprise the role of David Lee while Hugh Dancy (Hannibal and Homeland) joins The Good Wife in the recurring role of Caleb Garlin. Micheal J. Fox will also be returning in the third episode as Louis Canning.
