– A spokesperson confirmed to Deadline that Krista Allen has left The Bold and the Beautiful. Allen assumed the role of Dr. Taylor Hayes, a role previously played by Hunter Tylo, on B&B in December 2021.
Allen told Deadline on Friday, Dec. 15 that she was informed about the show’s decision in October: “The craziest thing is right before I got dropped, I did the cast photo shoot, and then the next week they called and said, ‘we’re not going to keep your third year and thank you very much, you were wonderful and thank you, goodbye.”
Deadline continued to report that Allen was offered the chance to continue with B&B as a recurring cast member, but the actress declined. Allen last appeared as Taylor on Nov. 8. The actress previously appeared as Billie Reed on Days of our Lives, from 1996-1999 – replacing Lisa Rinna.
– The Bold and the Beautiful will welcome Big Brother’s Cirie Fields and Matt Klotz as Dr. Martin and James this Wednesday, Dec. 10. Look for Fields to appear alongside Ashley Jones’ Bridget and Tanner Novlan’s Finnwhile Klotz appears as a Forrester employee in scenes with Zende (Delon de Metz) and Luna (Lisa Yamada). – Former B&B star Rome Flynn is joining the cast of Chicago Fire and will first air on Jan. 24, 2024. Flynn appeared as Zende from 2015 to 2017 and later appeared on How to Get Away with Murder.
– Deadline also reports that AnnaLynne McCord will be joining the cast of Days of our Lives in 2024. The outlet describes that her character, Marin, is “a fascinating and complicated woman who is devastatingly beautiful, almost angelic in her outward appearance. The desire of many but her heart belongs to only one man who continues to push her away for her own good.”
McCord is best known to audiences as Noami Clark on The CW’s 90210 from 2008 to 2013.
