General Hospital, which celebrated its 60th anniversary on April 1, 2023, will finally get a primetime special from ABC!
General Hospital: 60 Years of Stars and Storytelling airs this Thursday, January 4, 2024, at 10 p.m. on ABC. As of right now, there are no plans for the special to air on Citytv in Canada, but Canadians can still catch the special as it airs on ABC where available.
The hour-long special will feature fan-favourite cast members from throughout the years as they’ll pull back on the curtain on six decades in Port Charles – including behind-the-scenes moments, bloopers, a special fan tribute “and more exciting surprises” which honour General Hospital’s legacy.
Current cast members confirmed to be taking place in the special include Genie Francis (Laura), Maurice Benard (Sonny), Jane Elliot (Tracy), Finola Hughes (Anna), Kelly Monaco (Sam) and Laura Wright (Carly). Former cast members will include Amber Tamblyn (Emily), Emma Samms (Holly), and Rick Springfield (Noah).
General Hospital airs weekdays on Citytv in Canada and streams on Citytv.com, the Citytv app, and on Citytv+. In the U.S., GH airs on ABC and streams on Hulu.
