The Deal: About two best friends, who clearly harbour unspoken feelings for each other even after a test matches one of them with their supposed soulmate. Like a string, we see their connection through time and relationships. They may not be the nicest people, certainly not to their lovers or themselves, but you still want to root for them to find happiness – even if it may not be with each other.
Watch This If: We’re used to seeing Roy Kent here, there, and everywhere… We know that Goldstein can shine through some of the emotional stuff on Ted Lasso when given the chance. He gets to do that in All of You. Sometimes, there’s an expectation that the romantic lead is supposed to be a knight in shining armour, but some of the best stories are where everyone is complex.
