Soap News: Billy/Sharon Hook Up on Y&R!

— Billy’s (Billy Miller) gonna be super-busy this week on The Young and the Restless. You watched him deliver his and Chloe’s baby on Friday but look for things to get more intense. Lily will dump him now that she knows the he is Chloe’s baby’s father and not Cane. Billy will drown his sorrows and then his other half-bro Jack will show up to remind him the importance of acknolowedging his child. When Billy shows up at the hospital to be with his child and Chloe (who is dangerously ill), Cane will get him thrown out. Billy will find himself back at the bar where he’ll run into Jack’s estranged wife Sharon (Sharon Case) who is also getting drunk. One thing leads to another and they’ll both end up hooking up. Wow, Sharon’s had a busy month: Jack, Brad, Nick and now Billy?! I just hope she doesn’t find her self with child…Billy’s already in the midst of a “who’s the daddy” storyline. — Now for your Days of our Lives exit roundup since the last Soap News…Stephen Nichols (Steve aka ‘Patch’) and Mary Beth Evans (Kayla) will be written out quietly…also out is Rachel Melvin (Chelsea)…what is this? Seven exits within two months!

— Jennifer Love Hewitt‘s Ghost Whisperer gets invaded by soap stars on the April 24th episode. Lesli Kay (Felicia, B&B), Amelia Heinle (Victoria, Y&R) and Thad Luckinbill (J.T., Y&R) will appear as stars of the fictional soap Hope’s Edge.

— The 40th Annual NAACP Image Awards were held last week in Los Angeles. All My Children‘s Debbi Morgan (Angie) picked up a trophy for Outstanding Actress while Y&R‘s Bryton McClure (Devon) won Outstanding Actor…why, I have no idea…he’s had what? 5 episodes in the past year?! Who knew we’d be getting so annoyed by that little kid who played Richie on Family Matters fifteen years later?

— Daphnee Duplaix (ex-Valerie, Passions) is joining the cast of One Life to Live as Nora and Hank’s daughter Rachel in April. Nathan Purdee (Hank) will also make a brief visit to the soap. Duplaix will also appear on Playboy TV’s new game show Show Us Your Wits.

— Spoilers: Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will push Rick (Kyle Lowder) away this week on The Bold and the Beautiful; Rick will decide to be a “better man” and will enlist in the army. Also get ready for another round of Bridget/Nick/Katie and that crazy Pam (Alley Mills) is back. Daytime’s first lesbian wedding comes to a quick end next week as Bianca (Eden Riegel) serves Reece (Tamara Braun) will annulment papers and will skip town. Expect Reece to stick around longer to drive Zach/Kendall crazy. Don’t expect to find Greenlee’s body after Kendall sends her motoercyle off a cliff, Rebecca Budig last airs as Greenlee this week. Over on General Hospital, look for Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) to get obssessed with this Emily lookalike Rebecca Shaw (Natalia Livingston). Nik and the Quartermaines will team up to figure who this girl really is. Also look for Rebecca to mix things up with Lucky (Greg Vaughan). Casey (Billy Magnussen) gets arrested on As The World Turns while Katie (Terri Colombino) is sent to the hospital. Frank (Frank Dicopoulos) and Natalia (Jessica Leccia) hook up on Guiding Light. Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) dumps the much older Dr. Daniel (Shawn Christan) on DAYS.
