NBC has revealed its fall schedule. The biggest move seems to be Chuck relocating to Friday for its final 13-episode fifth season. The Playboy Club starring Eddie Cibirian will make its debut on Monday while Parenthood will remain with The Biggest Loser on Tuesday. There’s a new comedy block kicking off Wednesday night with Up All Night (about new parents starring Christina Applegate, Will Arnett and Maya Rudolph) and Free Agents (Hank Azaria and Giles from Buffy). Mariska Hargitay is close to signing a new that will have her return to Law & Order: SVU (but in less episodes), Jennifer Love Hewitt is in negotiations to star in the last L&O series while Christopher Meloni is still under contract negotiations. The Thursday night comedy lineup goes back to 2 hours after the 3 hour experiment this past year. Whitney Cummings’ Whitney will take the post-Office slot while 30 Rock won’t premiere until midseason due to Tina Fey’s pregnancy – Parks & Rec did the same thing this year because of Amy Poehler’s pregnancy.
